When i get my hair cut and the hairdresser?

only cuts a 1/4 inch why does it seem like he cuts alot more. then after two weeks it drops and looks like it's grown alot longer. why is that?When i get my hair cut and the hairdresser?
Probably because your ends are fresh and bouncy, adding more volume to your hair. this may make it seem shorter? I guess the ends would start to go dull, and it would loose some volume, making it look longerWhen i get my hair cut and the hairdresser?
It seems like a lot becuase it always looks like a lot when hair is cut off, and when you keep your hair cut it grows faster.
when you get your hair cut, it takes weight off of it, so it springs up, and even more if you have curly or wavy hair. then when it grows, it's weighed down again.
