Can you have your hair dyed with a do it yourself kit in the hairdressers to save money?

Alright so say you did a crap dye job with your hair, but couldn't afford to have highlights in the hairdressers

your hair is like practically white and kinda patchy cause different parts of our hair absorb colour more than other parts..

anyway

could youuu

get the packet dye (拢4.99) ;) go to the hairdressers, pay them 拢50 or w/e to put it on properly - like a new canvas, so that its all done properlyy

and thennn, not have to go back if you buy that same dye from the shop to just do your roots with every now and then?

would that work?

cause then you wont have to spend loads, and it kinda whipes out all the mess you'd made before? Can you have your hair dyed with a do it yourself kit in the hairdressers to save money?
im a hairdresser myself an i know lots of salons will allow this, although in your situation some stylists may not be happy with puttin a diy colour on, depends wot kind of mess youve made in the first place. go 2 a salon and get an opionion first. even if u pay a lot 2 get it done right u can keep it up yourself at home afterwards. PS 50 quids a lot 2 pay a salon for puttin on a diy jobbie. GOOD LUCKCan you have your hair dyed with a do it yourself kit in the hairdressers to save money?
Do you have a College near you which runs courses in Hair and Beauty?

The students are under supervision of a very skilled tutor and make an excellent job of hair treatments at a fraction of salon prices.

The only drawback is that it will take rather longer than going to a professional, because the tutor will be instructing as they work on your hair.
I was going to suggest going to a beauty school but it looks like you live in England? I don't think they have beauty schools there. I think they apprentice at the salons.

It sounds like your hair is more porous on some areas than others. You can call the salon and ask if they can do this for you. It sounds like you need hair treatments.
Don't think so.. Ask your friend to do your hair, I did that once and my hair looked like it was done at the hairdressers. Cheers
but highlights is well cheaper then 50 quid so just5 get that

or go to like a college

xo
I work at a hairdresser's and we have a lady who brings in her own purchased hair dye packet and my co workers apply it to her hair.

I'm not actually sure if they charge her the same amount that it would be to just get us to apply the salons dye or they charge less.

I recommend you ring up the hair dresser you want to go to and just inquire.

Some hairdressers could be different to others (some will probably do it for cheaper and some wont).
