Hey i have been dying my hair for about four years now i used to dye it black iwent to the hairdressers the ?

other day and they stripped the black out however , i was supposed to leave with a light brown hair colour but i had a strawberry blonde colour so i put the second box of dye on like the hair dressers said but its just gone more red the first dye was on saturday the second dye was on sunday i was wundering would my hair be able to stand being died on the wednesday a darker colour because it just looks awful!!

You don't need to put a darker color back on! You can get rid of the red hair by using a toner with an ashe, or green, base. The green will cancel out the red in your hair =)


Get a level that's the same as what you already have in there. You may need a hairdresser's help with this part, if you don't know your color level. Blonde is the lightest at 10 and black is the darkest at 1. Find out what level you are then get a color that's the SAME level in ASHE.


Follow the directions on the package and it should cancel out all the red, leaving a nice neutral color =)
